2024, a year of growth and transformation for BBD

The year 2024 was marked by great achievements and significant transformation at BBD. We’re proud to present a small snapshot of our highlights and growth over the past year.

A growing team

We were delighted to welcome two new members to our team, Pascal and Charles, who have already begun to leave their mark on our day-to-day operations. In addition, we celebrated the return of Marianne from maternity leave, who brings with her all the expertise and dynamism we’ve come to expect from her.

A fast-changing environment

The year 2024 was also punctuated by two moves for the Saint-Jean and Saint-Hubert branches, offices which also underwent major renovations, reinforcing our commitment to offering a modern, functional workspace for our entire team.

Sustained activity

With over 1,200 cases handled and more than 20,000 hours worked, our team has risen to many challenges to meet our customers’ needs with rigor and professionalism.

Nearly $1.4 million was invested in various strategic projects, including our premises, IT infrastructure and databases, to improve efficiency and prepare for future growth.

With an achievement rate of over 70% of the targets set at the beginning of the year, we have demonstrated solid execution and a strong ability to turn our strategic plans into reality.

A significant social commitment

At BBD, we strongly believe in giving back to the community. In 2024, we strengthened our social commitment by actively supporting several organizations that share our values. We are proud to have collaborated with the Fondation du Cégep de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu to encourage educational success, the Club des Petits Déjeuners to combat food insecurity among children, the Fonds Belmira Jaime to support cultural and social initiatives, and Moisson Rive-Sud to help families in precarious situations. These actions reflect our desire to contribute to a more inclusive society.
